It's been a long time coming, but my foray into the world of contemporary romance is live on Amazon. *waits for applause to die down* Thank you, thank you very much! In case you haven't seen it yet (shame on you), here's the blurb and the killer cover (complete with convenient buy link caption):
Thirty-two-year-old Richard Franchitti didn't believe in love at first
sight until he met free-spirited Catherine and started a brand new life.
A devoted father and husband, Richard fought to keep his family
together when it would have been easier to walk away.
Tragedy left him with unfinished business.
Now
a disembodied spirit, Richard relives his most important days. From the
beginnings of unconditional love, to the joy of his daughter's birth,
and all of the difficult times in between, each treasured moment brings
him closer to answering the question:
"Why am I still here?"
He was born Richard Franchitti, but his friends call him Ricky. Welcome to his funeral.
Writing this book was one of the hardest things I've ever done, and I'm happy and EXCITED that it's out in the world ... but writing and publishing are only the half of it. Now comes time to grease the wheels of The Great Promotion Machine. That means twittering tweets, fabulous facebook posts, buying ad time on local access cable TV, smoke signals, hiring one of those planes you see down the shore with the banners trailing behind them (Eat At Joe's! Buy Funeral with a View), you get the idea. I've booked a blog tour for October 27 - November 7, so this here blog is gonna get a whole lot busier in the next few weeks. Guests posts! Interviews! Giveaways! Contests! A three ring circus! Dog and cats sleeping together! Mass hysteria! It's my first blog tour and it's sure to be interesting. Keep checking this space for further developments. There should be a banner for the tour soon. I'll share it as soon as it's available.
Th-th-th-that's all for now, folks! To all of you who keep reading my sparse posts, thank you! To all of you who've bought Funeral and are reading it or plan to read it, thank you, too! To all future readers, thank you in advance!
Until next time, see ya'll in the funny pages.
